Mayor Ron Dellums and his wife Cynthia with the future of Oakland—its children, who are a central concern of his administration. Mayor Ron Dellums reaffirmed, at the beginning of the Hands Around the Lake inaugural event, that he still doesn’t have an “S” on his chest… but he does have an “O,” for Oakland.
“This means that we’re going to work together,” said Mayor Ron Dellums this morning at the beginning of the Hands Around the Lake event. All three quakes over three days (December 20, 22, and 23) were located on the Hayward Fault. The pylon with bucket above the Lake Park Avenue KFC will be coming down—along with the red tile roof—as part of updating the signage. These concrete picnic tables on the Walker Avenue side of the Lake Park Avenue KFC will be replaced and pushed back towards the building, effectively widening the sidewalk. The City’s Tree Division will remove this tree stub on Lake Park Avenue just to the east of the KFC. |
